Long Weekend

I had a nice long weekend. It was great being off on Monday. I proved to be the laziest person in the universe this weekend. I didn't do anything Friday or Saturday. Sunday, I took the Christmas tree down and Monday, I scrapped all day and I think I might have vacuumed the family room. Kinda sad, huh? I didn't leave my house all weekend - I was inside my house from 4:00 Friday evening until 5:45 a.m. this morning.

I'm pissed at Jason, he didn't come home until I was in the shower this morning! He's so inconsiderate. He knows how much it bothers me when he doesn't come home, but apparently he doesn't care about what I think. I hope he likes it, because I am bound and determined to do it to him one night and see how he likes it. The only problem is...my friends are all responsible, so they won't stay out until all hours of the night and morning! Ugh!

I suppose I'll go home and scrap some more tonight. I'm working on our Hawaii album and I need to get it done! I have so many album ideas, but I can't get them all accomplished!

American Idol starts tonight, so I hear. I just like watching the first couple shows because they show you all the people that suck! I love it!! I mean, what is wrong with people? Anyway...

The Move In

So, my nephew, Zach, moved in on Friday. He's already driving me nuts. He seems to get away with murder - even having a "fresh" mouth. My mom used to go off on my brother and me if we smarted off. And, let me just say, I would have NEVER smarted off to my aunts - never!

My mom went and bought him a track cell phone so he thinks he's so cool now - HE'S 12! Will he really be away from the house that much that he'll need a cell phone to check in?

He's being very possessive too. My mom bought cereal and he's under some kind of assumption that it's just for him. He came down to breakfast one morning and proceeded to tell me, "you better not be eating my cereal!". Whatever - I'll eat what I want! I know, I'm starting to sound petty, but when you haven't had to ever deal with pre-teens and they all of a sudden come live with you, it's weird.

Everyone keeps telling me that I'm an adult and that I shouldn't be so mean, but I can't help it - the kid drives me batty.

So, I thought that maybe Jason and I could move out and get our own place now - fat chance, I know. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to get used to a pre-teen who will be a teenager very shortly. God, do they have mouths on them or what? I know I did too, but that was me. ;)

New Year's Resolutions

Okay, does everyone make New Year's resolutions? I don't usually, but I figured this year I'd try to start.

Resolution One: Get organized and stay organized
Resolution Two: Lose weight - try to work out at least 4-6 times per week.
Resolution Three: Try to be more social.

I guess that's it. I don't really have any other resolutions.
