A Million Thanks

How I came across this, I'll never know (it may have been during Extreme Makeover: Home Edition - but I'm really not sure). But, there is a young high school student named Shauna Fleming who started a national campaign called A Million Thanks. A Million Thanks collects and distributes letters of appreciation and thanks to our current and past military service members as part of National Military Appreciation Month (NMAM). NMAM is celebrated every May and A Million Thanks hopes to collect at least a million letters each May.

I absolutely HAVE to contribute and I'll be taking my letter to one of the many auto dealerships in St. Louis that has volunteered to collect the letters for Shauna. I urge you to do the same. Check out the website and see how you can send your "thank you" letter or card.

Reporting Bad Drivers

So, I found this website called Platewire that allows you to report bad drivers or morons that drive under the speed limit in the passing lane!

You all know how much I hate slow drivers - but I sincerely doubt I'll even remember that someone pissed me off by the time I get home (so I doubt I'll use this website). But, the fun part is reading all the whiners on the website whine about people whipping around them, yada yada yada. But, I'm almost certain my license plate may be on this website eventually - I do tend to cut off slow drivers in the passing lane (I do it on purpose). I'm sorry, I'm flat out of patience.

But anyway, one individual described a woman as "sawed off". I thought that was hilarious - mean - but hilarious.

Take a look at the website - heck, make sure your license plate isn't listed. There's one PD in a small town that prints this report off every morning to watch the cars of the individuals listed.

Watchout!

Without Further Ado

It's done, it happened, Jen in Omaha created a blogging community for all of us that do NOT fit into a blogging mold. It's called what the BLOG!? and it's absolutely elitist (ha ha, just kidding, well kind of).

Jen is a very smart and funny girl and you'd be special if you joined her community, I promise. Plus, there are already some really amazing members and you'd be cast off the Blogging Island if you didn't join. If you want to join, which would be a wise decision, go to what the BLOG!? and join damnit. In case some of you have a phobia about clicking on links, you can just type http://whatthebloggers.blogspot.com/ into your address bar (or you could overcome your phobia and click on the address) and it will magically take you to what the BLOG!?

One more time, what the BLOG!?

Did you hear me? I said, what the BLOG!?

She even made up some frickin' awesome buttons (I told you she was smart). Look!

I'm only showing these two because they look purdy on my blog! She has tons, well okay, not "tons", but a lawt!
