Disappointing Sports Weekend

I should have opted out of watching all of the sporting events that I did watch. It all started Saturday with the Beck v. Barrett fight before the Spinks v. Judah fight. Beck was undefeated and then Barrett beats him and, I'm sorry, but Barrett is an ass. I really wanted Beck to win!

Then, the Spinks v. Judah fight pissed me off - I can't stand Zab Judah! I believe Spinks WILL get him back! Come on Cory!

Finally, my crappy sports weekend was ended with the New England Patriots winning the Superbowl by 3 measly points! I needed to see The Eagles win this one...but NO! So, in the 3rd quarter of the Superbowl, Jason and I started to watch the Chuck Liddell v. Tito Ortiz UFC fight and I wanted to see Tito Ortiz win that one even though Chuck Liddell is my #1 UFC man! Guess what - Chuck Liddell won it! Come on! Can anyone I root for win this weekend??? But, at least Chuck Liddell did win, I do love that man and I usually root for him, but for some reason I was rootin' for Tito (I think I was doing it for Jason). After watching the UFC fight, we turned back to the Superbowl to watch the last 3 minutes of the game and it was so close, The Eagles could have taken it, but no, because I was watching the game, New England stole their 3rd Superbowl win in 4 friggin' years. Oh well, next year! Maybe, next year the Rams can get off their ass and get to the Superbowl and win it! Anyway...that was my disappointing weekend.

Not to mention, the Superbowl commercials weren't even that good. I have seen better. The best one was probably the "You're being robbed" one - however, I did like the guy that sent his buddy a picture of his girlfriend, beer, and apartment. I wanted to see more animals - last year was a good year for animal commercials - gotta love the Budweiser Donkey!
