AARP

Can someone please explain why I got a letter from AARP saying, "Our records indicate that you haven't yet registered for the benefits of AARP membership, even though you are fully eligible"? I mean, I'm 29 folks...I think you have to be 50 to join AARP, right? I mean, I felt crappy enough about turning 29 (meaning 30 is right around the corner), but then I get this letter? Come on! Tell me this was just a cheap shot at me...please!

What do you think, should I send my registration in? That'd be funny.

I got one of those on my 50th birthday, so it was politically correct. But I was not a happy camper that day and said some not nice things as I threw it away :)

I got one when I lived at the apartment. What a waste of postage...lol

my parents get some sweet deals from the aarp deal. maybe they'll be too senile to notice that you're too young.

p.s.
i say bah to turning 29. i have to do it soon, too. i know you can't see me, but i am not making a happy face.

Psst.. if you go back to Best Audio.. you can pick the width of your player. I had mine at 200 I think. But then I'm a little OCD on things lol.

Do it!!! You get a free birthday cake at your local grocery store. I know this cuz my gramma gave me her cake.

Yeah, I suppose a cake never hurt anyone, right? Well, maybe they have (you know how those fruitcakes are).
